For Stronger Bones, Drink Beer

One more excuse for us alcoholics. Scientists at the University of Extremadura in Caceres, Spain, have found that drinking a moderate amount of beer may be beneficial for women's bone mineral density. They found that participants who reported drinking beer on a regular basis tended to have greater bone density than those who did not drink beer or who tended to consume wine. For those in need of further information, go here. For the rest of us, let's meet at the pub.

How Insane Will Your Will Be?

Those masters of trivia at Mental Floss have another list of nutty wills. They include 1) Leaving an entire estate of USD$80 million to a dog. 2) Leaving your preserved and clothed body. 3) Buried in a lace nightgown in a Ferrari. 4) Leaving an entire estate to seventy names selected at random from a phone book. 5) A pair of drums made from the skin of the deceased. 6) Leaving your friend your birthday. There's more over here.
